Biscotti Designs was created from a love of both painting and paper, and a belief that small moments deserve to be noticed.

 

I’m Kate Deutsch, the artist and owner behind Biscotti Designs, based in Hudson, Wisconsin. My work is inspired by everyday life — the pets we adore, the homes that hold our stories, and the quiet, meaningful moments in between. Painting is where I find joy. It’s my way of slowing down, observing, and capturing moments in time.

 

Alongside my paintings, I create illustrated paper goods because stationery has always been part of how I show love. I use a planner every day, never miss a birthday card, and leave notes in lunchboxes, pockets, and dashboards whenever I can. Those small gestures are what inspired my Itty Bitty cards and greeting cards — simple designs meant to be used, shared, and enjoyed.

 

Everything I create is made with care, intention, and a touch of sentiment. Whether it’s a custom painting or a handwritten note, my hope is that each piece feels personal, thoughtful, and meaningful.
